By: Auditor Training Online | Posted 01 Mar 2020

Can you believe that you only have until March 2021 to transition your competency to ISO 45001?

This means the time to transition to the new standard is now under 1 year away and OH&S professionals have until March 12, 2021 to make the transition.

ISO 45001 has already given health and safety professionals in organizations of all sizes a new way to help manage the many safety risks in workplaces across the country and in any industry.

If you work or consult for an organization that is certified to OHSAS 18001:2007 or AS/NZS 4801:2001, and have not yet upgraded your qualification, you can start to apply the new requirements by upgrading now.

We have three course options to suit internal or external auditors as well as consultants.

Our courses provide a comprehensive understanding of ISO 45001 and are designed for people who need to upgrade their qualification, for those that conduct audits or need to implement, maintain, review and improve an OH&S Management System.

The qualifications attained upon completion of each course, varies to suit your needs:

Are you a certified Occupational Health & Safety Auditor?

As both OHSAS 18001 and AS/NZS 4801 standards have been withdrawn due to the 2018 publication of ISO 45001, Exemplar Global have confirmed they will be discontinuing their Occupational Health and Safety Auditor scheme (OHSAS 18001 and AS/NZS 4801).

The Exemplar Global – OH qualification which refers to OHSAS 18001 and AS/NZS 4801 standards will become obsolete in March 2021.

Those who are currently certified to the Occupational Health and Safety Auditor (OHSAS 18001 and AS/NZS 4801) scheme will have the option to transition to the ISO 45001 Occupational Health and Safety scheme no later than March 12, 2021.

As an Exemplar Global Recognized Training Provider, our ISO 45001 OH&S Management Systems Specialist course meets the requirements for you to transition into the ISO 45001 Occupational Health and Safety scheme.
