Terms of Use

General Terms and Conditions

  1. Computer Requirements

    To ensure the ability to adequately download necessary documents including:

    • Certificate
    • Online course materials
    1. Devices

      Our courses can be accessed and completed on any of the following Internet-connected devices; 

      • iPad / Tablet - Note: While our courses are compatible with most tablet devices, some students have reported issues with SurfacePro compatibility. We recommend using an alternate device. 
      • Laptop
      • PC / Desktop computer
      • Smartphone (apple & android) - Note: While our courses are smartphone compatible, we do not recommend their use for optimal performance.
    2. Operating Requirements

      While not a requirement, content is best viewed using a minimum screen resolution of 1024×768. You will also need to operate using the following minimum system requirements:

      1. An Internet connection - Note: For optimal performance, we recommend an Internet bandwidth of 5Mbps download speed or greater. Speeds slower than this will continue to work, however, users may experience some lag in content visibility.
      2. Web browser:
        • Internet Explorer 8+
        • Firefox 2+
        • Safari on Mac 1.2+
        • Google Chrome
      3. JavaScript and Cookies enabled
      4. Flash Player 9+
      5. PDF Reader (e.g. Adobe Acrobat, Foxit or similar)
  2. Minimum Language Requirements (English)

    1. Auditor Training Online recommends participants have the equivalent of year 10 English grammar and comprehension.
    2. Auditor Training Online courses are written to reflect ISO language standards. Therefore will contain variables between US & UK English spelling and grammar.
  3. Refund & Extension Policy

    1. Refunds

      1. Refunds are only provided at the digression of the Directors of Business and will not be refunded under the following conditions:
        1. If a participant changes their mind
        2. If a participant has at any time logged into, accessed supporting documents and/or commence their course
        3. If a participant fails the course(s)
        4. If a participant does not have the adequate language ability
        5. If a participant fails to complete in the time allowed as stated at enrolment
      2. In extenuating circumstances, Auditor Training Online will allow an enrolment substitution. This is only approved on the condition that;
        1. The originally enrolled student has not commenced/logged into their course.
        2. The substituting person must request a change to participants details in writing and complete the required Transfer of Enrolment form online before participating in course(s) to ensure correct name appears on the certificate.
    2. Extension

      1. Where a student fails to complete their course content within the allocated twelve (12) month period, a written application may be submitted for a three (3) month extension. A non-refundable administration fee will apply to all extension applications.
        1. Approval of any extension requests is at the discretion of the Director of Training & Development.
        2. Extension requests are not available for courses in which the qualification and/or standard have been superseded during or after the student’s enrolment expiry date.
          Students will, therefore, be required to enrol in the most recent course qualification at the full course fee.
  4. Certificate(s) of Competence

    1. Auditor Training Online permits successful participants to print the relevant and security numbered certificate in the legal name of the person that successfully completed the course(s).
    2. Auditor Training Online reserves the right to retract any certificate if it is proven the certificate was attained fraudulently or illegally, i.e.;
      1. If the person named on the certificate was not the person who undertook the course content and the exam
      2. If the qualification named on the certificate was not the course/qualification undertaken and aligned with the course content and exam taken by the named student
    3. Skills Recognition for previously attained qualifications is available for both Australian Nationally Recognised Competency Units and Exemplar Global equivalents.
      An additional administration fee will apply to such applications.
  5. Personal Responsibility and Auditing Competency

    1. Whilst Auditor Training Online believe the knowledge provided is adequate to perform the task of auditing against any type of criteria, it is not responsible for individuals’ personal and professional performance when conducting an audit.
    2. By accepting these terms and conditions you declare that the name and all other identification information provided at enrolment (as will be issued on your certificate/s) is a true and accurate reflection of your own identity and not another person. Where validation of the same is required, you agree to provide verifiable and factual evidence of identification upon request. Failing to do so may result in non-issue/revocation of your qualification/s.
    3. By accepting these terms and conditions you are declaring that the information contained in your application is true and correct and that all documents (including assessments) provided to Auditor Training Online in support of your qualification are genuine, your own work and are free from plagiarism. Breach of this condition may result in non-issue/revocation of your qualification/s.
  6. Cost of Courses

    1. Auditor Training Online provides online tuition for the following units
      1. Exemplar Global TL - Leading Management Systems audit Team
      2. Exemplar Global AU - Management Systems Auditing
      3. Exemplar Global QM - Quality Management Systems
      4. Exemplar Global EM - Environmental Management Systems
      5. Exemplar Global OH - Occupational Health and Safety Management Systems
      6. Exemplar Global OH 45001 - Occupational Health & Safety Management Systems
      7. Exemplar Global HP - Developing HACCP plans
    2. The cost for each unit is provided in the course information
    3. In the case of non-Australian tender, the exchange rate as set by the relevant banking institution will be the accepted amount
    4. In the case of non-Australian tender, Auditor Training Online does not accept responsibility for any international transaction fees which may be applied by your personal banking institution
    5. An additional administration fee is payable for all Skills Recognition applications (including Credit Transfers)
  7. Confidentiality

    1. Client confidentiality is ensured by Auditor Training Online at all times and details are not shared with a third party (except Exemplar Global) unless the client has given approval.
    2. Exemplar Global certify all of our training courses, occasionally they request access to students details. However, Auditor Training Online respect our students right to privacy and anonymity. In accordance with privacy laws and regulations, we will never pass on students personal details to third parties without your prior consent.
    3. Your privacy rights are set forth in our Privacy Policy, which forms a part of this Agreement. Please review the Privacy Policy to learn about:
      • What information we may collect about you;
      • What we use that information for; and
      • With whom we share that information.
  8. Appeals and Complaints Process

    1. If you wish to provide feedback, an optional course feedback survey is available at the completion of the course. Additionally, you can contact Auditor Training Online directly using our contact form.
    2. If a participant believes they have been unfairly treated by the decisions of Auditor Training Online they have a further avenue of appeal with Exemplar Global and or ASQA, whichever is the relevant reporting body.
    3. A full copy of the Auditor Training Online Complaints & Appeals Policy and the Complaints & Appeals Procedure are available both on our website and in PDF format upon further written request.
  9. Provisional Grade Exemplar Global Notification

    1. Upon successful completion of any course which includes an international TPECS certified competency with Exemplar Global, Exemplar Global may require/request the following information which will be submitted by Auditor Training Online on your behalf only with your permission. If permission is granted by yourself, the following information is provided:

      A written request for consent will be issued to the learner prior to providing any confidential and/or personal information to Exemplar Global.

      • Your name, postal address, contact phone number and email address
      • Competency units that you have completed successfully
      • Date of your examination (completion)
      • The name of the training provider (Auditor Training Online)
  10. Timeframe for completion

    1. While Auditor Training Online offers self-paced online learning options, to assist in the management and completion of courses time frames are set for completion dependent on the course being completed. Refer to the Welcome module to learn the time frame for each course. If additional time is required this can be requested and extended by Auditor Training Online.
