Why did we create this course?
This course was created with NDIS auditors in mind. While the Auditing Skill Set - BSBSS00090 course will satisfy the requirements of NDIS Approved Quality Auditors Scheme we found that having a qualification in ISO 9001 management systems was especially relevant to NDIS auditors, and having this extra qualification gives you opportunities beyond just NDIS auditing.
This course could also be suitable for anyone working in the Aged Care Industry as an Assessor or Auditor as it provides a great grounding in quality management and the conduct of audits.
Designed to provide the training and qualification required, to become a Lead Auditor for ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management Systems. This course will teach you how to perform a quality management systems audit as both a team member and a team leader, for both internal and external audits:
Promote yourself as an external auditor Quality Management Systems (QMS) auditor.
Perform audits on behalf of NDIS Approved Quality Auditors. See the guidelines for NDIS Approved Quality Auditors Scheme to make sure you satisfy the other requirements. Assess an organization’s QMS against the ISO 9001:2015 standard and be an authority for organizations in determining the extent of conformance of their QMS.
Assess an organizations management system against ISO Standards requirements as an external auditor
Write, review, and provide feedback on management system audit reports
Document nonconformances within an audit report
